Making Spirits Fly:

Our range of print capabilities at Paramount Labels has gone from strength to strength over recent years as we’ve quickly built a reputation as one of the most versatile label printers for startups in the UK.

Our continuous investments have not only harnessed the costs of our clients printing but we’ve also seen a new influx of brands that want our help to take their labelling to the next level in quality.

Answering The Prayer:

When craft distillery Angel Feathers got in contact, they wanted us to efficiently produce a professional plumage of custom labels that would complement their branding across the entire range.

The Sky Is The Limit:

As a growing distillery, Angel Feathers prioritised to keep packaging costs to a minimum with a set of industry standard, professionally manufactured alcohol labels.

For this project, we went with a gloss white polypropylene backed onto a grippy peelable adhesive for an easy to remove label for Angel Feathers’ sustainable bottle return and refill initiative. The facestock itself allowed for a crisp white finish whilst meeting a durability standard that can withstand discolouration by the bottle contents.

For sharp, high quality print, we advised Angel Feathers to use our Konica Minolta digital label printing press. Meaning there were no print plate costs involved and we could still achieve clean print with defined artwork lines.

To finish it off, we ran the labels on their second print run. This time through our DigiFlex Elite Finishing Unit for die-cutting and coating. We embellished the print with a matte varnish layer for a light, silky, waterproof finish – just like real feathers.

This resulted in a cost-effective production method across the range, by maintaining their brand continuity through printing and adding a one or two clever industrial tweaks of our own to achieve the desired effect.
